We have powers under the Integrity Sport and Recreation Act 2023 to investigate integrity issues. We can investigate:
suspected threats to integrity
suspected breaches of an integrity code (if it applies).
Investigations are generally for serious or complex complaints, or where it is not suitable to resolved in another way, such as through mediation.
The outcome of an investigation depends on several factors including the type of investigation, what rules or code applies, and how serious the circumstances are. We can publish a report relating to the investigation.
People who make a complaint or provide information to the Commission to help with an investigation are protected.
