User Pays testing

About our testing

We provide professional sample collection services on a user pays basis for national sports organisations, international federations, major event organisations and other anti-doping organisations.

Our services include the collection of urine and/or blood samples and can take place in-competition or out-of-competition.

With more than 20 years of experience in anti-doping, we have a well-established network of accredited doping control officers located around the country with broad experience in doping control, including at major international events. Our sample collection processes are fully compliant with the World Anti-Doping Code and the International Standard for Testing and Investigations.

Clients we have worked with include:

  • Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI)

  • World Rugby

  • Fédération Internationale de Hockey (FIH)

  • World Triathlon Corporation (WTC)

  • International Triathlon Union (ITU)

  • Sports Integrity Australia (SIA)

  • United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA)

User Pays Funding

We have allocated all our User Pays Funding for 202425 and are no longer taking applications.

Thanks for working with us to support clean, fair sport in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Need support with testing costs for events or world record attempts?

Our User Pays Fund can support national sporting organisations and individual athletes with the costs of required testing.

If you’re an NSO hosting an international competition in New Zealand, or an athlete attempting a world record in New Zealand, and testing is required by your International Federation, we may be able to help with up to 50% of the costs.

To date, we’ve supported events across New Zealand, including:

  • Tri Taranaki Festival

  • WBSC Softball World Cup

  • VICTOR Oceania Team Championships

  • 2023 Oceania Triathlon Cup

Submit your application at least three months before your event takes place. Note that we have the discretion to approve an application where less than 3 months’ notice is given and all other application criteria are met.

This is a limited funding pool and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Each application will be assessed on its merits.

If you have any questions, feel free to drop us an email.
