Our services include the collection of urine and/or blood samples and can take place in-competition or out-of-competition.
With more than 20 years of experience in anti-doping, we have a well-established network of accredited doping control officers located around the country with broad experience in doping control, including at major international events. Our sample collection processes are fully compliant with the World Anti-Doping Code and the International Standard for Testing and Investigations.

User Pays Funding
Need support with testing costs for events or world record attempts?
Our User Pays Fund can support national sporting organisations and individual athletes with the costs of required testing.
If you’re an NSO hosting an international competition in New Zealand, or an athlete attempting a world record in New Zealand, and testing is required by your International Federation, we may be able to help with up to 50% of the costs.
To date, we’ve supported events across New Zealand, including:
IWWF University Champs (Auckland Waterski)
Sir Graham Douglas International (Athletics NZ)
Oceania BMX Championships (Cycling NZ)
WBSC Softball World Cup (Softball NZ)
Oceania Triathlon Cup (Triathlon NZ)
Submit your application at least three months before your event takes place. Note that we have the discretion to approve an application where less than three months’ notice is given and all other application criteria are met.
This is a limited funding pool and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Each application will be assessed on its merits.

Your International Federation requires testing at this event.
The Sport Integrity Commission (the Commission) will carry out sample collection and testing at this event.
Note: A maximum of two events per financial year may be funded.
Funding available
50% of sample collection and testing costs.
Funding criteria
To receive User Pays Funding, NSOs must evidence that:
they have fully adopted the Sports Anti-Doping Rules as per the Commission's best practice;
anti-doping education must be shared with and encouraged among all participants;
agreed Commission messaging will be integrated into all athlete event communications, including education links being sent to participants;
Commission branding will be present at the event and included as part of event promotional collateral (e.g. Commission flags, logo in event programme);
they will collaborate with the Commission to promote clean sport content via social media
Application deadline
Apply at least three months before the competition starts. We have the discretion to approve an application where less than 3 months’ notice is given and all other application criteria are met.
