At the Commission, we employ people in permanent and fixed-term positions, with most of the team based in Auckland Tāmaki Makaurau. We also work with a team of independent contractors within our education delivery and anti-doping testing field teams nationally.

We're a team that is passionate about fairness in sport and recreation, and bring that to work each day - along with our technical expertise ranging across sports management, law, integrity, investigations, alternate dispute resolutions, quality, education, IT, HR and more.

As part of our commitment to seeking the views of the diverse communities of Aotearoa New Zealand, we are establishing a Pacific Nations Engagement Group. This group will ensure the voices, perspectives, and values of Pacific peoples are represented and heard within the Commission.  

About you

We are seeking expressions of interest from individuals who:  

  • Have a strong connection to Pacific culture and a deep understanding of Pacific values, practices and protocols.  

  • Are committed to promoting safe and fair environments in sport and recreation.  

  • Can represent the diversity of Pacific communities and experiences in Aotearoa New Zealand.  

  • Are normally based in New Zealand.

If you are passionate about creating positive change and contributing to the integrity of sport and recreation for Pacific people, we would love to hear from you.  This is a paid role based on a daily rate with expenses covered. You will take part in several meetings per year (a mix of online and in-person) with frequency, timing and schedule to be determined.

About us

Our organisation was established on 1 July 2024. Our role is to build a strong integrity and safeguarding culture, providing people and communities with safe, fair and positive experiences so everyone can enjoy the benefits that sport and recreation provide. 

Integrity in sport and recreation includes the integrity of people, organisations, and competitions. It means ensuring all participants - including tamariki, rangatahi and other at-risk people - are safe, organisations have good integrity capability and processes, and that competitions are free from corruption. 

We work with organisations at all levels, from national and regional organisations to local clubs. We provide support to create safe, fair environments, free from harmful or unethical behaviour, such as bullying or racism.

Field team expression of interest

Our field teams are at the heart of our work. There are two types of role:

  • Sample Collection Personnel (SCP): Our SCP deliver our testing programme. The role

  • Educators: Our educators are current or former NZ athletes with a commitment to clean, fair sport.
